Applied Health Sciences and Wellness

The School of Applied Health Sciences and Wellness includes the divisions of 体育训练, Combined Master of Science and 饮食实习, 运动生理学 and Food and 营养 Sciences. Our academic programs provide excellent classroom and hands-on experiences that prepare students for a variety of health care professions. All of our majors are formed on a strong foundation of science, making them an excellent pathway to other professional programs, such as physical therapy, 职业治疗, physician assistants and medical school. Our goal is to help students reach theirs.

    We recommend students complete a bachelor's 运动生理学 with a pre-athletic training concentration and then apply to the Master of Science 运动训练 program. We also offer an Early Assurance Program for high school seniors.

    俄亥俄州's Master of Science 运动训练 Program provides students the ability to combine knowledge and skills learned in the classroom with the experiences gained at a variety of clinical sites.

    bet8九州登录入口’s 100% online Doctor of 体育训练 (DAT) program was designed with affordability and various lifestyles in mind. The program consists of a minimum of 42 credit hours beyond the master’s degree.

    Bachelor of Science 运动生理学 is the study of how the body responds to the stress of exercise, a field that requires an understanding of the basic sciences such as anatomy and physiology, as well as the applied exercise sciences.

    The exercise physiology graduate program provides students with the specialized skills needed to work in either a clinical, 研究, or field-based environment. Specializations include Research, Clinical and Human Performance.

Food and 营养 Sciences Degrees

    Students interested in a major in food and nutrition sciences have multiple options of study to best meet their career path goals: Diabetes Certificate, Sports 营养 Certificate, Applied 营养 degree or 营养 Science degree.
